I made a big pot of lentil and vegetable soup for dinner tonight. It was gooooood. And garlic breadsticks. And they were goooooood.

Oh, but don't look too closely at the dirt/grime/clutter/unpacked and unwashed clothes from last week's trip/toys all scattered everywhere. One thing at a time.

Suzy! Go you. I always feel so proud of myself when I cook with dried beans because that takes knowing the night before what you're fixing for the next day's dinner. (The trouble is that I don't do it often enough to know how much I'm making. Hence the Science experiment you might recall from last year.)
