Jam Session

This is my first ever attempt at making jam. I made strawberry freezer jam last week after attending a Relief Society enrichment class teaching us how. I'm really excited with how it turned out. I think I'm going to have to try some more again soon.
Can't start without my 2 little helpers.

Mashing strawberries is lots of fun.

Quality control, it's a tough job but someone has to make sure the bowl checks out

Stirring some more

Cleaning a little drip

Filling freezer jars

Giving a little taste

Yummy!

All done!

I LOVE strawberry freezer jam! When my mom came down after Daniel's birth I ordered her to make a batch and show me how it's done. Sooo good. By the way, David is looking much more grown up there days.

Go Liz! I love making freezer jam, it's 10 times better than the stuff you buy at the stores. David is looking SO BIG now, I can't believe it! He's such a handsome little boy, and Anna is adorable, as always.

I did that when we got back to Utah... We have enough freezer jam for both our families through the millennium. The kids look cute and happy give them a big hug from Aunt Carrie
